Years of Excellence
A Vision Rooted in Haitian Heritage
Born in Queens, New York, raised between worlds, I carry Haiti in my blood and the full spirit of Hispaniola in my work. The island’s history — its revolution, its resilience, its poetry — lives inside every piece I create. I don’t just represent one side of the island. I represent the energy of the whole land. Strength. Survival. Soul.
Haiti is where my roots are from a powerful people , And that power shows up in my art. Oil paint is my first love. I’m drawn to its depth, its richness, the way it holds light. I work with discipline — a limited palette of just five colors in every painting. Five colors. Infinite atmosphere. I believe restriction sharpens vision. When the palette is controlled, the emotion becomes undeniable. I’m inspired by the dramatic illumination of Rembrandt, the fearless intensity of Caravaggio, and the commanding cultural presence of Kerry James Marshall. Light emerging from shadow. Identity rendered with dignity. Story embedded in silence. But painting is only one language I speak. I love film — the framing, the pacing, the tension between stillness and movement. I create short visual stories that feel cinematic, layered, intentional. Every canvas feels like a paused scene. Every scene feels like it could breathe. And I write music. Rhythm, melody, harmony — these are brushstrokes too. Art speaks in many tongues: paint, film, story, sound. I love them all. They are different instruments, but the same soul. For over three decades, I’ve been building this voice — studying light, studying culture, studying emotion. Now, I’m sharing it fully. This is not just art. It is heritage. It is discipline. It is cinema in oil. It is music in shadow. It is the spirit of an island — speaking in every language it knows.
